The opportunity to win a sought after Apple iPad Air 2 tablet ended with a flurry of entrants keen to contribute to our market research and not miss out.
We wanted to get industry feedback on our brand and washroom product range, as well as further insight into how the industry is developing – to help strengthen our position as a forward-thinking market leader in manufacturing robust washroom products and sanitaryware solutions.
The information learned was tremendous. We were instantly glowing with pride by the warm comments received, with the overriding view that we are great to work with and what a friendly helpful bunch we were. And the further understanding of how the brand is perceived industry-wide was fascinating, reconfirming our own intuition, Wallgate are specialists and innovators in manufacturing the toughest, most robust, washroom products and sanitaryware solutions.
AND THE LUCKY WINNERS?
Hundreds provided feedback by completing the online survey, following which we picked at random three winners – all now proud owners of a very useful Apple tablet.
The first drawn from the hat, Sean Porter, site manager at Wessex Primary School, has installed numerous Thrii Hand Wash dryers into children’s’ washroom areas over the last decade, as part of ongoing refurbishment projects.
“I’m delighted to win my iPad, it’s fantastic – I’m getting a lot of use out of it, both for work and personal use, so thank you!
The Thrii is one of the best washroom products we’ve ever bought, and we plan to refurbish the remaining boys’ washrooms at Wessex Primary with the same units. They’re not only extremely robust and easy to install but cost effective, low maintenance and smart looking,” Sean concluded.
John Scott is a capital development manager at one of the largest mental health trusts in the UK, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. “The Trust provides care to those living in the region who are experiencing mental health problems and operates from some 50 sites in a variety of settings, from community based mental health facilities through to in-patient wards and day centres”.
Lucky iPad winner, John, has been specifying Wallgate products for more than five years.
“We’ve installed a variety of sanitaryware products including hand wash basins, WCs and showers. Our patient environments tend to be very challenging and we therefore need products that meet very high standards, particularly for robustness and anti-ligature design.
Wallgate is an excellent company, their technical advice is invaluable, both at the design stage with product selection and at the installation stage during construction and commissioning. They’re an innovative, responsive company that listens to what their customers want,” he commented.
“I’m delighted with my new iPad Air 2; something I’ve always had my eye on. I’ve been using it for all sorts of things – I am definitely an Apple convert,” John added.
One of the world’s leading project development and construction companies has recently worked with Wallgate on a London Custodial Project specifying secure cell sanitaryware and associated controls fit for the space.
The company’s project engineer, who received the prize, said their experience of working with Wallgate was ‘great’.
“They’re flexible with their products, solutions and delivery dates to ensure it suits our specific projects. They’re market leaders in secure cell sanitaryware and a reliable supplier who values their customers.
I was very surprised to win my iPad Air 2; I never seem to win anything that I enter so this win was great. It has now become the family iPad for general web browsing, social media, TV and games!”
All in all, the market research has been a great exercise, helping us to understand better how it’s perceived and experienced by the market and its key audiences; and helps everybody involved in the company to clearly see where we are and importantly where were going.
