Kingdown School in Warminster has installed the new Wallgate Thrii handwasher drier as part of a washroom refurbishment project  Pupils at the School were very pleased to see the sleek new design of the school’s refurbished bathroom and Wallgate sanitary ware.

Kingdown Comprehensive School of Warminster has 1560 students enrolled and is a mixed gender establishment and traditionally had single sex toilets. As part of the refurbishment the school approached Wallgate with a unique design, which involved the creation of a mixed gender open plan bathroom. The logic behind this new design was to minimise the time students spent congregating in the bathroom area which was a problem with the old design. This new design also gives teachers visibility of the bathroom area.

The new washroom consists of 10 cubicle toilets and a main washing area that opens onto the school corridor. The toilets selected have an integral seat, which is very durable. The Wallgate Thrii is a revolutionary new hand wash drier, which provides users with a three in one soap, water and drying service all in one ergonomically designed unit. The Thrii was chosen by the school as it offered significant savings in terms of soap usage, water saving and energy saving.   

When asked what she thought was the best thing to come out of the new facilities, Head Teacher Sara Edwards said “it is the fact that no longer are Student Leadership meetings dominated by the toilet issues”.
